Dr. Simon Larson war in der letzten Oktoberwoche 2019 für einen kurzen und intensiven Forschungsaufenthalt am Institut für Analysis, Dynamik und Modellierung zu Gast. Im Rahmen eines Institutskolloquiums sprach Dr. Larson am 31.10.2019 über das Thema: Hermite-Hadamard inequalities in higher dimensions.
Abstract:
"In this talk I will discuss some recent results on a generalization of theclassical Hermite-Hadamard inequality to convex domains in arbitrary dimension. Inparticular, we shall be interested in sharp constants and their asymptotic behaviourwith respect to the dimension.
