The focus of this research group lies in the mathematics of many-particle quantum systems.
More specifically, the various research projects stem from the following areas:
- Spectral theory for atoms and molecules
- Nonlinear effective Schrödinger equations for many-particle systems
- Models of non-relativistic QFT (QED, Polaron models)
- Further development of mathematical methods of quantum mechanics
The group is led by Prof. Dr. Marcel Griesemer since April 2005.
The research of the analysis group was supported by the German Research Foundation (DFG) through the Research Training Group 1838 (2013-2019).
